Unfortunately it’s not the gorgeous pooch in the photo, but rather Melissa, creator and curator of The Inspired Room. As an avid writer (NY Times Bestseller) and decorator Melissa boasts a knack for all thing creative and beautiful. Her interior designs are casually liveable, with a touch of homey luxury, and plenty of cosy, snug and inviting aesthetics. Voted the Reader’s Favourite Decorating Blogger at Better Homes & Gardens magazine in 2015 and 2014, it’s easy to see that Melissa is a motivated and inspirational designer.

Having just moved into a 1950s cottage in Seattle, Melissa inspires women to create an authentic home they love, while embracing family life and domestic bliss. As a mother of three (not counting the fur babies), Melissa balances numerous tasks and offers budget-friendly DIY projects, as well as ways to reduce expenditure, stress and time-wastage.
