Think outside the box with your colour choice

The first before and after we take a peek inside has drastically improved its aura and atmosphere, thanks to a few altered fittings, fixtures, and a new hue.

The pink colour is reminiscent of 40s and 50s bathrooms, while the dark black fittings add contrast to the overall scheme. The vanity was given a thorough upcycle, consequently providing it a new lease on life.

Keep valuable assets

Next up we head inside one of the best inexpensive bathroom remodels we have seen! This transformation has to be seen to be believed. Starting with a nightmarish room, the space has been modified to suit a more modern life, while certain things have been retained.

When remodelling, fixtures can be restored and reused. In this instance the bathtub has been resurfaced and repainted, therefore increasing its modern appeal.

Add plants, new tiles, a timber shelf, and this room is spectacular. Check it out here.

Clean, crisp and wonderfully sleek

Classics never die, and this room proves that mantra. Employing a white colour scheme, this a gorgeous and great example of inexpensive bathroom remodels. The tub has been retained to save money, while the dull wall colour has been replaced by running bond tiling.

Simple, stylish and effective, you can check out the full project here.

Get creative and think outside the box

One of my personal favourites, this bathroom takes its existing elements and breathes new life into them. The wall colour has changed to print wallpaper. Light fittings have been removed, while the tapware has also been replaced. The vanity, which was previously uninspiring, has been repainted and given new handles.

Altogether a few simple changes have left a big impression, enhancing this space tenfold!

Working with a small space

Inexpensive bathroom remodels don’t just happen in large and luxurious spaces; there are also a number of compact areas that also require renovation. This is one of them. Previously a stale, bland and completely unwelcoming room, the mustard tiles, pedestal sink and accessories left little to be desired.

To transform this bathroom, the owners retiled the floor, as well as removing the mustard brown tiles on the walls. Instead of retiling the walls, they have been painted a fresh white hue, with the shower undergoing a new running bond subway style tile. This on its own would have been an impressive transformation, but the pedestal sink has also been removed, and replaced with a neat contemporary version, while the tapware has been changed to a copper hue.

Along with new accessories and accoutrements, this is a brilliant transformation, and a now envy-worthy space! Want to see more? Follow the link here.

We hope that these bathrooms got your remodelling juices flowing. If you want more, stay tuned for more fabulous ideas next week!
